Katie Sehmi BSc (Hons) MCSP PGDip
Katie specialises in
Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Katie qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2003. She has over 13 year experience of working in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in the NHS in Leeds, and has also worked in private Physiotherapy clinics including the English Institute of Sport.
Katie has enjoyed continuing her professional development, completing both a Post Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with distinction, and her Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation with Merit, alongside her clinical work. She has also spent a year lecturing on personal and professional development to medical students at Leeds University.
Katie qualified as a Pilates instructor with APPI in 2007 and has taught both freelance and NHS classes as well as incorporating Pilates into her 1:1 physiotherapy clinics. She has a special interest in teaching ante and post natal pilates classes and loves meeting the new 'Pilates babies' in her post natal classes!
Outside of work Katie will be found enjoying time with her husband and three children. In her spare time she is also training for the London Marathon 2018.
