Louise qualified as a Physiotherapist in January 2013 when completing her masters at Leeds Metropolitan University. Prior to this she completed a bachelor of science degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Louise worked in the NHS for the first 8 years of her career specialising in treating muscle and joint problems. She has been working in private Physiotherapy practice for the last 2 years and loves using manual treatment techniques alongside exercise and advice to help people move better and reduce their pain. Louise is trained in delivering acupuncture and uses it to treat people with pain. Louise has also worked at Leeds United Football Club managing and treating sports injuries in children and adolescents.
Louise is an APPI certified Pilates Instructor and has completed her Pre and Post Natal Pilates training. She loves to practice Pilates herself and it helped her rehabilitate her body after having her 2 children. She loves to share her expertise and own experience to help pre and post natal women manage the changes their bodies undergo during this time.
Louise is a mother of 2 children and in her spare time enjoys family days out and keeping active in the gym, running and playing netball.
